Working closely with our clients in a variety of organisations, Francis Group consultants respond to ideas, and design options aligned to organisations’ strategies and objectives.  Examples of our experience include:

  • Hawke’s Bay DHB –Design of a new community service arm and PHO merger programme – Francis Group provided assistance to the Oversight Group in designing and establishing a programme to oversee workstreams merging existing PHOs, and developing the newly merged PHO’s Community Health Service arm. Implementation of the Decision Phase and Transition Phase required a high level of internal and external stakeholder engagement, as well as clear and well-planned communications to successfully implement the programme of change.
  • Office of the Clerk of the House of Representatives – Organisational Review and Change Process Design – Francis Group assisted the Chief Executive to design a review and engagement process that included a range of focus groups with both the Executive Team and organisation managers, exploring, debating and considering options for refining the organisational structure.
  • Wellington City Council – Venues Strategy – Using the Francis Group Business Model Framework, key internal and external stakeholders were interviewed to develop a Strategic Operating Model for the newly merged organisation – Wellington Venues.  The Strategic Operating Model articulated the vision and values, set high-level objectives, and clarified the key functions and processes that would be required to achieve that strategy.
  • National Health IT Board – Stakeholder Engagement Planning – Francis Group worked alongside the engagement team of the National Health Board to develop a framework for more effective stakeholder engagement based on Francis Group’s Stakeholder Engagement methodology. Francis Group also developed engagement plans for the NHITB’s four key stakeholder groups.
  • MidCentral Health – Improvement Portfolio Development (Deficit Management Programme) – Francis Group provided assistance with a review of efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery, and the identification of improvement opportunities, and associated methods of implementation. Francis Group worked in collaboration with the organisation’s clinical leaders and management team through a series of workshops and one to one meetings.  A number of initiatives were identified as reasonable value propositions.
