Lee Taylor is a Manager for Francis Group with a wide range of experience in the health care system in both the United Kingdom and New Zealand. He has demonstrated the ability to build relationships in complex and dynamic environments to enable an optimum working environment, which has been crucial in the management of several keys projects at national level.
Lee has been involved with the Department of Health’s Healthcare Associated Infection (HCAI) Technology Innovation programme since February 2010 as the project manager for 9 NHS showcase hospitals. His role is to oversee the evaluation and analysis of technologies which claim to have benefits to combat HCAI’s in the clinical operational environment and encourage adoption and diffusion of these proven products across the wider NHS.
He particularly enjoys the challenges of project management ensuring that stakeholder consultation and communication is conducted in a consistent and effective manner.
Previously, Lee has worked at a senior relationship management level in central government which required flexibility, confidentiality, and knowledge of the wider health care sector, as well as understanding ministerial priorities and how these need to be realised at the operational level. He has led national projects requiring consensus-based agreement in order to progress and this has required a unique approach in order to achieve ‘buy-in’ and ultimately wider sector satisfaction on the end product.
