Dale Truman is a senior consultant for Francis Group. Dale has extensive experience in Health, Social Services and Education in the New Zealand Public Sector. His passion is in using cutting edge technological solutions with process and system redesign to bring gains in productivity and efficiency resulting in improved service and cost savings.
Dale is currently engaged in analytical performance management and improvement at St John using technological solutions to bring greater organisational efficiency and cost savings. Dale has also recently worked at Capital Coast District Health Board (CCDHB) as part of a large-scale project to develop a fully absorbed cost for all of the activities undertaken by the DHB provider arm. In conjunction with this exercise Dale developed a system that would measure accurately internal activity within a clinical department and establish an internal transfer mechanism that will allocate overhead or indirect costs to end user departments in the GL based on actual usage. This role involved detailed analysis of current systems including effective data gathering around costs and current state processes. Dale has an excellent ability to wok assisting in all forms of project management from design and implementation to developing and documenting new processes and reviewing and improving existing processes.
